Officials

Greetings,

Thank you for wanting to learn more about becoming a tennis official in Southern California.  The Southern California Tennis Association Official’s Committee is a 5 person body that is the official liaison to the USTA National Officials Committee and supports training and other activities for officials in the section.

By contrast, the Southern California Tennis Umpires Association (SCTUA) is a professional organization of working officials.  Ultimately, you will want to join SCTUA to take advantage of their training opportunities and to receive pay for working events as a certified official.  Because the SCTA Official’s Committee and SCTUA work together, we are jointly providing the following information for your use.

Chairman SCTA Officials Committee             President, SCTUA
