USTA League Tennis Key Dates
2011 SCHEDULE
(Dates are subject to change)
Local League winners may need to participate in District/Area Playoffs for a spot in the Section Championships
ADULT DIVISION: April 1-June 30
(Section Champions advance to the National Championship in October)
Format: 2 Singles and 3 Doubles lines with men and women playing in separate teams. NTRP levels: 3.0-4.5
Format: 1 Singles and 2 Doubles lines with men and women playing in separate teams. NTRP levels: 2.5, 5.0, 5.5, & Open
Age: 18 yrs & older
August 19-21 @ Los Cab and Fountain Vly TC - Men
MIXED DBLS DIVISION: Local League must be completed by Aug. 31
(Section Champions advance to the National Championship in November)
Format: 3 Doubles lines with men and women playing together on the same team. NTRP Levels: 2.5, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0, & 10.0
Age: 18 yrs & older
SENIOR DBLS DIVISION: Local League must be completed by Aug. 31
(Section Champions advance to the National Championship in October)
Format: 3 Doubles lines with men and women playing in separate teams. NTRP Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, & 4.5
Age: 50 yrs & older
TRILEVEL DBLS DIVISION: Local League must be completed by Oct. 30
(3.5-4.5 level Section Champions advance to the Invitational Championship in March 2012)
Format: 3 Doubles lines at different NTRP levels with men and women playing in separate teams. NTRP levels: (2.5/3.0/3.5),(3.0/3.5/4.0),(3.5/4.0/4.5)
Age: 18 yrs & older
SENIOR MIXED DBLS DIVISION: Local League must be completed by Oct. 30
(Section Champions advance to the National Invitationals in April 2012)
Format: 3 Doubles lines with men and women playing together on the same team. NTRP "Combo" Levels: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, & 9.0
Age: 50 yrs & older
SUPER SENIOR DBLS DIVISION: Local League must be completed by Nov. 13
(Section Champions advance to the National Championship in April 2012)
Format: 3 Doubles lines with men and women playing in separate teams. NTRP "Combo" Levels: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, & 9.0
Age: 60 yrs & older
Section Championship: December 2-4 @ Lakewood TC
SCTA DOUBLES LEAGUE: August 1-November 13
(No Nationals, this is a Section League only)
Format: 3 Doubles lines with men and women playing in separate teams. NTRP Levels: 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, & Open
Age: 18 yrs & older
Section Championship: December, 2-4 (2.5, 3.5 & 4.5 Levels) @ Indian Wells Tennis Garden & sites
December, 9-11 (3.0, 4.0 & 5.0 Levels) @ Indian Wells Tennis Garden & sites
Check with your Area League Coordinator regarding Local League Playoffs that might occur prior to championship play
