DTS College Prospects Showcases

    Donovan Tennis Strategies will be hosting the 6th Annual Southern California Showcase January 8^th and 9^th, 2011 at the Claremont Colleges in Claremont, CA. This event is an opportunity for junior players interested in playing college tennis to get exposure to college coaches. Players are placed on teams and play both singles and doubles in a format identical to college tennis matches. College coaches receive player profiles on all participants with their contact information, ranking history and academic credentials. In addition to the singles and doubles play participants take part in a Q&A session with college coaches and listen to a presentation from a college admissions director. Last year's event attracted coaches representing 36 college programs from the west coast and throughout the country.

     The 11th Annual DTS College Prospects Showcase held at Yale University in New Haven, CT will take place July 5^th to 7^th, 2011.

I    n their 10 year history the Showcases have been instrumental in placing over 1,000 players in college tennis programs ranging from top 10 ranked Division 1 programs to unranked Division 3 programs, and have been attended by coaches representing over 250 college tennis programs. Past participants have gone on to become Division 1, 2 and 3 All-Americans and All-Conference players, with several past participants winning individual and team national championships.
