SoCal Nips NorCal for Maze Cup Title

In what came down to one of the final matches, the squad from Southern California edged out its Northern Cal opponents in the annual Maze Cup competition for the 27th consecutive year. The proposed change to limit the draw size is based on the following considerations: 1. The Level 2s often are too large to efficiently complete over two weekends 2. A reduction in the draw size provides some contingency time for weather issues(rain and heat) 3 The reduction in draw size will eliminate the use of some of the courts that are not in good condition 4.
