Designated Tournament Draw Changes

The proposed change to limit the draw size is based on the following considerations: 1. The Level 2s often are too large to efficiently complete over two weekends 2. A reduction in the draw size provides some contingency time for weather issues(rain and heat) 3 The reduction in draw size will eliminate the use of some of the courts that are not in good condition 4. The recent San Diego Tennis and Racquet Club 10 and Under event had 14 entries. Players were Open and Satellite USTA level players. Each group played a round robin with 7 players. The top finishers of each group played off for 1st and 2nd place. The second place finishers played off for 3rd and 4th.
