National Championship Information

Check with your Area League Coordinator regarding any Local League Playoffs that might occur in your area prior to championship play.

Local League winners may need to participate in District/Area Playoffs for a spot in the Section Championships

NEW CHANGES TO 2009 USTA LEAGUE REGULATIONS

USTA MIXED DOUBLES DIVISION: January 1 – March 31

Format: 3 Doubles matches with men and women playing together on the same team. (NTRP “Combo” Levels: 2.5, 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 & 10.0).
The Section Champions advance to the National Championship in November.
Age: 19 yrs & older.

District/Playoffs: April 18 - 19 @ El Dorado TC (Long Beach)

USTA ADULT DIVISION: April 1 – June 30

Format: 2 Singles and 3 Doubles matches with men and women playing on separate teams (NTRP levels 3.0-4.5)

Format: 1 Singles and 2 Doubles matches with men and women playing on separate teams (NTRP levels 2.5, 5.0, 5.5 & Open)
The Section Champions advance to the National Championships in September & October.
Age: 19 yrs & older.

District/Playoffs: July 17- 19 @ El Dorado & Lakewood TC

USTA SENIOR DOUBLES DIVISION:
Local League must be completed by Aug. 30

Format:3 Doubles matches with men and women playing on separate teams. (NTRP Levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5).
The Section Champions advance to the National Championships in October.
Age: 50 yrs & older.

District/Playoffs: September 12 - 13 @ El Dorado TC (Long Beach)

USTA TRI-LEVEL DIVISION:
Local League must be completed by Oct. 11

Format:3 Doubles matches at different NTRP levels with men and women playing on separate teams (Example: 3.5, 4.0, 4.5)
The Section Champions may advance to the 2010 BNP Paribas Open Tri-Level Invitational Championship in March.
Age: 19 yrs & older.

Sectionals: November 6 - 8 @ Lakewood TC (Long Beach)

USTA SUPER SENIOR DOUBLES DIVISION:
Local League must be completed by Nov. 30

Format: 3 Doubles matches with men and women playing on separate teams. (NTRP “Combo” Levels: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0).
The Section Champions advance to the National Championships in April of the following year.
Age: 60 yrs & older.

Sectionals: January 13-14, 2010 @ Indian Wells Tennis Garden

USTA SENIOR MIXED DOUBLES DIVISION: Local league must conclude by Nov. 15

Format: 3 Doubles matches with men and women playing on the same team. (NTRP "Combo" Levels: 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, 9.0 & 10.0)
The Section Champions advance to the National Championship in April, 2010.
Age: 50 yrs & older.
