Tony Brock Honored as a ‘Hero Among Us’

Tony Brock Honored as a ‘Hero Among Us’

Giving back comes easily for Tony Brock, the director of the Safe Passage Program. The Los Angeles resident was recognized recently as he was named one of five finalists in the 2009 Heroes Among Us Program presented by the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour.
The five finalists were selected by a panel that included Venus Williams, Sony Ericsson WTA Tour chairman and CEO Stacy Allaster, and S. Gulser Corat, UNESCO director of the Division for Gender Equality. The winner of the Heroes Among Us program will be selected by fan voting.
The winner of the Heroes Among Us program will receive a prize package for two to attend the Sony Ericsson Championships – Doha 2009, including tickets to the final, roundtrip airline tickets, accommodation, transportation, behind-the-scenes access at the tournament and tickets to the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour Year-End Party in Doha, Qatar.
