K-Swiss and the Westlake Tennis & Swim Club are teaming up to bring some of the world’s most talented age-group tennis players to the home of K-Swiss in Westlake Village for the 2009 K-Swiss USTA National Men’s 45 Hard Court Championships.

    This premier event will be held June 28-July 4 at the Westlake Tennis & Swim Club, drawing top-ranked talent from all over the globe. Westlake is home to one of only four National Surface Championships events for the 45s age group in a battle for the prestigious national title.

    Among the talent slated to compete is Rick Leach, former #1 doubles player in the world and a holder of nine Grand Slam Doubles titles.

    As title sponsor of the event, K-Swiss will offer product demonstrations of the newest innovations in tennis footwear and apparel, provide prizes in the form of product for the victorious players, and provide participants and spectators giveaways throughout the event.     The semfinals will be July 3, and the singles finals will be Friday, July 4, at 10 a.m. with the doubles to follow after.
